Tanganyika

Oh, where do I begin! This sure was an adventure! I think I may of even traumatized my kids! I've been so busy with work that I feel like I haven't been home to spend any time with the kids! I've been wanting to take them to Tanganyika for weeks now! I finally decided that Tuesday morning was going to be the best day for us! The kids had fun... I think! They were both scared of feeding everything! The only thing that they liked were the baby kangaroo's, the rabbits and the guinea pigs! I bought a nine dollar bracelet, so we could feed all the animals. But I think I fed the animals more than the kids! We were able to feed the giraffe's, lemurs, lorikeets, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles and either ride the camel or feed the rhino! Well, there was no way in hell that any of the kids were getting on the camel, so the rhino it was! Ansley wasn't too thrilled about that either! After some coaching I think she actually liked feeding the lorikeet's! Yes, she was attacked by several of the birds, but I think in the end she really liked it! Ansley didn't want anything to do with the giraffe's and they were both deathly afraid of the 4 tortoises' that were closing in on them! Lots of screaming and crying on this little adventure, but it was a fun a little adventure! :)

notice the faces! Looks of horror from the tortoises' closing in on us!

Harvest: 2013

Harvest 2013 is almost over! I worked all weekend, but I was able to take the kid's out on Friday for a few hours! Zach has been busy in the field all weekend and the kids have been on and off! The kid's and I stayed about 3 hours on Friday! We all rode in the combine, Ansley went with daddy in the grain truck! The kid's had so much fun!
