Father's Day

Father's day was anothe busy day! We headed to Zach's parents for some swimming in their new pool, smoked meat for lunch, fish fry for supper, fishing at Uncle Tim's and my parents came over that evening for a vist! Busy but fun day! :)

Karson: 10 months

Wow, this month there's a lot happening and of course Karson is growing up way to fast, but I'm loving every minute of it! He is such a good baby, a very high maintance baby but never the less a perfect baby! I love you little man! Here is what he is up to this month:

• Sitting and turning with no problem
• can go from his belly to a sitting position on his own
• wearing size 4 diapers and 12-18 month clothes
• starting to get a tooth (bottom left)
• drinking from a sippy cup
• sleeping much better, any where from 10-12 hours at night! :) finally!!!
• Saw an allergist a couple of weeks ago. Allergic to dairy, eggs, peanuts and dogs
• scooting all over the place! Has crawled a few times, but thinks scooting is much easier
• Can get anywhere he wants
• can say "dada"
• shakes his head no, when you says "no, no"
• Can clap when you start singing Patty Cake
• Can wave bye bye
• Still only having breast milk and nursing when I'm at home (my supply is getting really low, but I'm hoping to make it another 2 months)
• loves the swimming pool and being outside
• His hair is getting lighter and lighter and almost needs a hair cut
• Loves playing with his big sis, but still pulls her hair out all the time
• eats everything off the floor and everything goes straight to his mouth
• going to Peggy's one day a week

Allergist

We were finally able to get into the allergist after nearly 8 weeks of waiting! I noticed at about 6 months old, Karson could not tolerate dairy products! I started introducing yogurt melts at that age and he immediately broke out in hives! Along the way we started to notice more and more foods, would cause him to break out! We had blood work done at the hospital a few weeks before our appointment and knew going in that he was allergic to egg whites and dairy products! The allergist thought at about ages 2-5 he would outgrow those allergies! :) There is hope! We also found out that he is allergic to peanuts and dogs! Yes, dogs! We are testing the allergy currently at grandma Teresa's and I don't think that the results are going to be good! :( We have started noticing that he coughs and has a runny nose when we are gma's house and even 24hrs after leaving her house. :( poor guy! I know that the more he is exposed to dogs the worse his reactions will be, but i'm hoping for the best and that its just a common cold that he has. (I have a feeling that I'm wrong though). 

Ansley was so concerned about Karson, She kept saying "o, poor Karson it will be okay"!

She's such a good big sis

His right side is all food, the left is indoor allergies, including the dog. The bottom is the control panel. He broke out in about 2 seconds will all these :( He was really good and never cried!

Summer activities!

Summer is here!! :) We are in full swing of our summer activities! Dancing, swimming lessons, library, Zach's softball! It is busy around here and summer has just started!

Ansley is dancing at the Edge one day a week! She is in heaven! She talks about dance non stop! She loves it and is very good at listening and doing what the teacher ask's! These smile's say it all! I love her so much and I have a feeling that we will be dancing for quite a while! If this is how much her face light's up at the thought of dance, I'm all for it!

Swimming lesson's just started today! She is taking private swimming lesson's one day a week and seems to be enjoying them! She is a little fish in the water and hopefully by the end of the summer she will be comfortable floating on her tummy and back!
