All MINE!!!!

That's what I think everytime I look at these pics!! She is my little chunky monkey and I love her so much!! I can kiss her and hug her anytime I want to because she is all mine!

Laura took Ansley's 6 month pics last weekend and gave us a sneek peak on facebook! Lets just say that we love them!!!! Laura did an amazing job and can't wait to see the rest! Ansley is pretty much a happy baby all the time and full of smiles, but she decided that she wanted to show us her serious side on Saturday! :) She was a good baby and these went much better than her newborn pics, but we finally got her to laugh towards the end! Thanks again Laura!

I look at these pics everyday on my phone at work! I'll remember these times forever! Thanks again Laura!

What would we do.......

without grandma Teresa!!

I've been asking myself this question a lot lately! Actually, for the last 6 months since our little princess was born and even more so when I had to go back to work. She does so much for us and I'm not sure we tell her enough how much we really do appreciate it.

I leave the house at 5am and Zach has to be to work by 8am. Peggy picks up other kids at daycare and drops one off to school and isn't home in time for Zach to drop Ansley off so we of course rely on Teresa. Most of the time she picks Ansley up from daycare at 4:30 when she is off for the day and keeps her all day on the Friday's that I work!

She took Ansley back to the doctor on Friday since Zach and I were both at work and kept her all night so we could get a good nights sleep. The PA at the doctor's office said that Ansley's right ear was red and her throat was red as well so now she is on medication for 10days 3 times a day!

She's the person that I take all Ansley's stained clothes to and say "can you please get this out for me?" and of course she does, delivering it back to me stain free. She is the STAIN REMOVAL QUEEN! :)

I can't count the endless times that she has told me to call her in the middle of the night if Ansley won't sleep. I've never taken her up on this, but I always know that no matter what time it is she will always come over with a smile on her face.

Loves her family more than anything and isn't afraid to tell you what she thinks! (maybe that's why we get along so well). :) We love you Teresa and Thank you so much for everything you do for us! You're a great mom and grandma!

Me, me, me!

This is where you will find me Friday at 11:45am! Enjoying a 70 minute massage and a manicure! I recieved a gift card from Zach for Christmas and have been saving it for the perfect time! Trust me now is the time. A time for ME! I have been so EXHAUSTED for over a week now and decided that I'm taking a ME day!

With Ansley being sick and not sleeping at night, stress at work, trying to keep up with house cleaning and so many other things that I'm too exhausted to even think of, let alone list.  Zach picking up a side job that he started last week when Ansley started getting sick and wasn't getting home until around 9pm each night! Leaving me home alone with a cranky baby all day long for two days straight!! I thought I was going to pull my hair out! lol. I decided by Thursday that I was taking a day for just ME and can't wait!

Healing Waters is a great spa and have been there only one other time. Its a fancy place (too fancy for me) and they recently moved to Bradley Fair in Wichita. I'm excited to see the new place and enjoy a couple of hours getting pampered. Afterwards I'm hoping to do a little shopping at Gap, Gymboree and Hobby Lobby, then heading home to snuggle with my fam!

Anyway, that is where I will be! If only they had margarita's! :)

6 Months

Here we are again, another month has gone by so that means new milestones for my chunky monkey as well as more pics! Today we still have a runny nose, cold and a slight fever. Poor little thing sounds terrible and I'm starting to think that her cough sounds like croup!! Ugh! We went to the new doctor on Tuesday for her cold symptoms. He told us it was just a virus. Zach took her to see him since I was at work and he seemed to like him, but we go back on Monday for shots. I'll be taking her Monday and that will be the true test to see if I like him or if I made a huge mistake by switching doctors.

At 6 months Ansley is:

• Sitting up with no help and has been for a couple of weeks!
• Eating baby food and loving it
• while laying on her back can scoot backwards (does this mostly at night in her crib)
• Thinks that rolling over is overrated these days since she can sit up :) (hasn't rolled over in weeks)
• wears size 2 diaper and 3-6 month clothes. At night I've been putting her in 6-9 month sleepers for the arm length
• Started eating mum mums
• started playing with a sippy cup (hasn't really figured out the drinking part yet and since she's been sick I haven't even given it to her)
• seems to eat every 4-5 hours. I tried feeding her every 3 hours and she just isn't hungry
• seems like her puking is slowing down
• Tried staying the night with my parents last weekend, but mom called at 1130 becasue she wouldn't quit crying! We were in Wichita at a going away party for my partner and left to find her sleeping away in the crib lol
• Is about to outgrow the bouncer. She only sits in it while I'm getting ready in the mornings but I think in another month we will have to put it in storage
• been taking more and more naps in her swing. Don't really like the idea, but  whatever will get her to nap
• Still loves the exersaucer
• her hair is really starting to grow and is getting lighter. I'm thinking she is going to have dirty blonde hair

There is 6 months for you! Chunky Monkey I love you so much and can't imagine my life without you. You are perfect in every way and melt my heart on a daily basis! The excitement on your face when I get home from work is the number one reason why you complete me! Love you bunches

Ten on Tuesday!

Wow, its been a long time since I've done a ten on Tuesday, but here goes!

1. Had a great mothers day! Very relaxing and I even got to sleep in til 9am!! (thats a great start to any day). Spent the afternoon with family and got several plants for mothers day!
2. Ansley is still eating baby food like crazy! She has had green beans, peas, sweet potatoes and apples! She loves them all! She's a great little eater and makes a happy plate at every meal!
3. I've decided to switch doctors! I've had the same family doctor for years and I really like him for Zach and I, but not so much for Ansley. I would really like to send her to a pediatrition in Wichita, but Zach is against doctoring in Wichita, so I'm hoping this new doctor will work out.

4. Cleaned out Ansley closet on Sunday! Packed all her newborn and 0-3months clothes in action packers and they are ready for storage (waiting for baby number 2). *tear* I organized all the current clothes she is wearing. organized by dresses, long sleeve, short sleeve and jackets and of course they are all color cordinated. Yes, I have issues! :)

5. Found this little table at a family friend's garage sale this weekend (actually my mom picked it up for me). I've been looking for a little round table for Ansley's room and you can't beat $1. Thanks Kathy I love it!
6. The Kanza Day's craft fair was not a huge success for us! It was actually terrible, but I did get an order while we were there and have since made 6 bows for 2 different girls! I should of taken pics, but I completely forgot.
7. My little sister is graduating from high school in 2 weeks and we are having her graduation party at our house on the new deck. We have a few pots planted, but still have lots of yard work to get done before her BIG day!
8. Ansley can officially sit up! We sit her on the floor and she just plays and plays! She can easily sit for 15min. before getting tired!

9. Had a baby shower/meet and greet for little Miss Macy and Brandy on Saturday! Here are pics of all the girls! 6 months ago we took this pic at my baby shower and now all of our little ones have arrived happy and healthy! Macy is such a good baby and I swear everytime I see her she is asleep and I love the fact that she "talks" in her sleep! 10. Here are a couple of pics from Kanza Day's! Ansley "rode" her first horse and sat on the tractors for the tractor pull!

Sorry pics are kind of out of order, but Ansley is sick and I was up every hour last night!

Miss Piggy!

Ansley had baby food for the first time on Thursday. I started with green beans and lets just say that she loves/d them! She liked them so much that she ate the whole jar! :) Little pig! I decided that I would strip her to nothing but her diaper and see how messy it would be. Green beans were all over her face and hands! She seems to think that she needs to help feed herself and always grabs the spoon. Peggy told me this week that she thought she was ready for baby food and boy was she right! She never got a funny look on her face and acted like she had been eating them for years!!! :) I even had Zach ask his mom if she had secretly been giving her baby food! lol just kidding! now maybe I should ask Peggy that question too. lol I just can't believe that she ate them so well!

She has also been sitting up by HERSELF!! YIKES! She can typically sit for a minute or two by herself before she falls over! I'm so happy that she will be able to sit up for her 6 month pics!
