Hats!
I've always wanted to learn how to knit and/or crochet, but have never taken the time to actually set down and give it a try. I'm left handed and everyone else in my family is right handed, so thats part of my problem. I use to get so frustrated because I couldn't ever peel potatoes with a knife because no one could teach me without cutting my hand off. Now i've just come to accept that a carrott peeler is the best thing for slicing potatoes. so if anyone out there is a left handed and is willing to teach me give me a call! ;)
Here are pics! Don't be too judgemental these are my first attempts!
As you can tell the green one is way too small! lol! Maybe baby Jaycie can wear it! :)
I'm not really liking the brim on the multi-colored hat

Ten on Tuesday!
- Ansley is getting baptized on Sunday! Grandma Carolyn made her cristening gown and it is beautiful! She's getting baptized at the same church we got married at. We have lots of family and friends that are planning to attend and I'm thinking mexican food to celebrate afterwards!
- Loving my new bathroom makeover! My husband did a great job of putting everything in its place! He found it at walmart and I love the colors!
- As I look around my house, we are surrounded by baby toys! Its driving me crazy and our house isn't big enough for all this! baby swing, bouncer, jumperoo, play mat, toys and more toys everywhere!
- Congrats to Brad and Whitney on their Valentine's day engagement! We are so happy for you two and can't wait for the upcoming wedding in August!
- Ansley's current change in sleeping habits is about to kill me! We have been up every two hours for the past 2 nights! If this isn't a growth spurt I'm in big trouble!
- I received a hat loom from Zach's parents on Christmas and attempted to make a hat over the holiday season, but it didn't turn out quite right! I started another one on Sunday and I believe this one is going to be a success. I also bought some green yarn at walmart to make Ansley a St. Patricks day hat! Its also Zach's birthday! The big 25 this year! Can you say good-bye mid 20's.
- Ready for spring! This cold and snow that we have been getting is a little toomuch for me and can't wait to play outside this spring and take Ansley on walks!
- We have a spring project that we are going to start as soon as it starts warming up. We are going to build a DECK! I'm super excited and I think we will be outside a lot this summer enjoying our fun in the sun and BBQ's!
- Thanks to Laura I have updated my blog and have gotten some great idea's from her post on Scrapbook Funattic! I'm going to give the NO flash a try this week! Go check out her post and I'm sure you will learn a lot!
- Check out Brandy's blog if you haven't already! She is being very crafty and I'm loving all the things she has made for Ansley! Thanks B

Adjusting
Work is work! Its been pretty busy, but I am still able to get 3 or 4 pumps in a day. I can't say that I'm use to getting up at 4am yet, but I'm trying. Ansley is still waking up a couple of times at night, so that makes it even harder to get up. I miss her and I hate leaving her, but she seems to be adjusting well. I'm not crying when I leave in them morning so I guess I'm adjusting too.
Ansley had a good first day at the babysitter. She arrived around 11am on Friday and left a little after 4:30. (Zach's mom is picking her up for us and dropping her off on some days as well). Peggy said her first day went good, but didn't poop! I didn't really think much about it until yesterday when she still hadn't pooped and Zach said she was acting like her tummy hurts. Turns out she was indeed constipated and when I got home last night I started looking on-line for home remedy's. After reading several things i tried using the rectal thermometer and a little Vaseline on a q-tip. Lets just say about 5min after that she POOPED and it was defiantly 2 days worth! :) *gross* I didn't give her cereal last night, so hopefully she poops today with daddy. Peggy sent us several emails on Friday to say that Ansley was doing great! She even put a video of her on her blog and gave us a daily sheet on how well she did!! :) I really like that she kept us updated and I'm hopeful that she will do well with Peggy! :) Thanks Peggy!
Have a good week I'll post pics tomorrow of Ansley :)

surviving
Zach is now employed and seems to be liking his job. He started Monday as a delivery driver for Quality Water! So if you are in need of some water let him know :) lol. As Teresa said it was a big day in the McCaslin family with both of us leaving Ansley.
Tomorrow I'm planning to visit a babysitter. I've talked to her on the phone and I'm hopeful Ansley will do well with her! :) I love the fact that she will write down when Ansley eats, sleep and the number of diaper changes! If all goes well maybe Friday will be her first day.
Zach and I had our day/night out together on Saturday. We left Ansley with my parents and headed for Wichita around 1pm. We did some shopping, ate at On the Border (had a margarita-which are the best I've ever had), checked into a hotel and went to a movie. We had a great time and really enjoyed our time as a couple. I was doing great until I talked to my mom after the movie was over. She was already asleep and had a great day with them (the evening was a different story- she was up every 3 hours!). After I got off the phone with her I started crying and cried all the way to Dairy Queen. (ice cream makes everything better). After my 30minutes of crying I was all better and enjoyed the rest of our evening. *thanks again mom and dad we had a great night*
On a random note have you been to gap recently!?! They have the cutest *pear* collection and I'm tempted to buy her everything they have! I bought this hat when we were shopping for Ansley to wear this summer! Super cute collection! Go check it out! :)
Happy Tuesday
