Full bladder!

Here it is 11:15am only 45 more minutes til we find out if we are having a boy or girl! I'm trying to be a good patient and go in with a full bladder, but 2 bottles of water later I'm about to explode! I hope I make it another 45 more minutes without peeing my pants!

Zach and I are leaving from the appointment to Wichita. I'll post when we get back on the good news!

Til then lets hope I don't pee my pants!

Waiting!

I know its been a week since my last post, but I've been crazy busy. With the garage sale, fathers days, work, and the extra work I've been doing I can hardly find the time to think! Today, I worked for a few hours at the college, then I've been cleaning since I got home! For those of you that don't know, I've been working part time for the Cowley paramedic program for 3 years now! I've been working extra this summer saving my money for a new camera!

Last weeks appointment at the doctor went well. Nothing new to report! I'm a pretty boring pregnant lady! I've gained a total of 7 pounds so far! We go back on Tuesday for a sonogram! Yes, I made sure it was a sonogram this time :) After our appointment on Tuesday Zach and I are going shopping for the baby and to dinner to celebrate our new little boy or girl! I know this sounds crazy, but I think its a boy!! Maybe, I think that just because Zach wants a boy, but lately I've been feeling like its a boy too!

Such is Life

Well, I didn't get my way, no surprise there! No, sonogram for us tomorrow. I'm very disappointed, but such is life. I talked to the nurse on the phone yesterday and they said they can get me in as soon as my schedule is free, which for me isn't going to be til June 30! So, now that is the new date that we will find out the sex of our precious baby.

If you haven't noticed or don't know me, I'm a planner. I plan way in advance for everything! So, its no surprise that I have already scheduled my maternity pictures! I wasn't real sure if I even wanted to have maternity pictures taken, but the couple that is taking the pics are new and haven't done many maternity pictures. They offered me a really great deal, so I couldn't pass it up! Although, I will say that there wasn't much planning in this pregnancy! Trust me we wanted a baby and had started trying, but never in a million years did I think that we would get pregnant the first month! :) Here is the website for the photographer if you want to check them out!

Not Happy!

Today, is not a good day! I was talking to Brandy earlier on the phone about my upcoming appointment and our shopping trip planned for Friday night. She was asking me about how much water I had to drink before the sonogram! I told her I wasn't sure that they never said anything about drinking water! She thought something didn't sound right and told me to call the office and double check! Good thing I did because they didn't have me down for a sonogram!! I'm sooooo disappointed and mad! The lady that I talked to on the phone said that they don't do sonograms on Friday's!!! So, now I'm patiently waiting for the nurse to call me so i can see about getting an order for the sonogram at the hospital! I'll post again after I talk to her, but as of right now no sonogram for us :(

Itty Bitty Outfits!!

Wow, blogging 2 days in a row, I think this is a record! Anyway, I blogged yesterday about the outfits we bought the baby while we were in Vegas, so here they are!

Next Friday, after we find out what we are having Brandy, Whitney, Kristi and I are heading to Wichita do some shopping for the baby and of course for us! :) I'll let you know what we find!

Viva Las Vegas!

That's right Thursday afternoon we left for Vegas! It was a family trip with lots of family/friends that came with us as well. We had never been to Vegas before, but left me just say we are definitely going back when I'm not pregnant. Here's a recap of our 3 days in Vegas!

We arrived Thursday afternoon about 3:00 Vegas time! We checked into our hotel and headed to find some place to eat! We took the bus (which I wouldn't recommend), down the Las Vegas strip. We stopped at the stratosphere for a few pics, then headed to the Nascar cafe to eat! After dinner we headed to see a light show! It was a busy day and we finally got back to out hotel about midnight.

Friday, we woke up early and did a little gambling with my dad before everyone else woke up. No luck winning any money! At 10:00 my parents got remarried. After 22 years my parents decided to marry again. It was a nice small ceremony that took place in their hotel room. After the wedding Zach, Alicia, Braden, Greg, Kelsey and me headed for the strip. We walked all over the strip! Let me tell you we got our exercise for the weekend! My feet have never hurt so bad! We met up with everyone at Margarittaville! Let me back up and say there were 16 people total that went. Friday night we did more gambling! Zach actually won $175, but no luck for me! We headed to bed around 11 after a long day of walking!

Saturday, Zach, Alicia(my sister) and I headed to the shark aquarium that was at our hotel! It was a fun aquarium and we even got to touch some sting rays! After the aquarium we took a taxi to the hard rock cafe to eat some lunch! After, we ate to headed back to the strip to do some more shopping! I found the baby 3 outfits at gap! on sale for 5.99! Saturday night was filled with more gambling! I actually played the roulette table for over an hour and came out ahead $9! (big winner huh:))

Sunday, we were up very early to head to the airport! We landed back in Wichita at 1:30 and headed home! We had a good trip and can't wait to go back! 3 days was not enough time to see everything.

Let me just talk about our plane ride for a minute! I don't mind flying. Zach and I have flown a few times since we have been married! Our longest flight was to Maui! 9 hours total! I'm not sure I'll ever go back, but we had a blast! Anyway, this was a 2 and a half hour flight! No big deal, at least that's what i thought! I usually drug up before we fly, but being that I'm pregnant i decided to go drug free! Big mistake!!!! the landing to Vegas was horrible!! I thought we were dead for sure! The turbulence was so bad that I actually got out the vomit bag! I never threw up, but man that was a terrible flight!! Lets just say I learned my lesson and drugged up before we headed for home! The trip home was a breeze though!

Its been a busy week here! Work and more work! I've been getting stuff marked for our garage sale next weekend! June 20th is the date and its a neighborhood garage sale! We are selling our desktop computer if anyone is interested. its only 3 years old. flat screen 19inch. asking $100!

17 weeks!

Great Deal's

Well last week was full of bargains! My good friend/cousin Craig was having a garage sale last weekend. He has 2 girls and was getting rid of some baby things! I went over on Friday night and loaded up! I found a wipe warmer, diaper genie, lots of gender neutral receiving blankets, couple of books, a few toys and a couple of outfits! I wish I knew what we were having because he was getting rid of a lot of girls clothes! He even had a jungle theme bedding set! It was very cute, but I decided to wait. It didn't sell in the garage sell, so if i change my mind, I'll buy it later.

Also, i was looking on Craigs list this weekend. This lady in ark city was selling a jumperoo and a exersaucer! I emailed her on Saturday, and she still had them! She said she had tons of calls on them, but they wanted them delivered to Wichita! She said she would save them for us, if we wanted to come look at them. (Its nice to know that there are good people out there!) I worked this weekend, so Zach and his mom went to her house on Sunday to take a look at them. They were in excellent shape and sold both of them to us for $50! Here are the pics, but trust me they look much better in person! I've never bought anything off of Craig's list, but my experience was a good one! Zach currently has his truck on Craig's list for sale and we have had 2 calls so far! Hopefully, we sell it soon!

Not much else going on here, just work and cleaning! Were having a garage sale in a few weeks, so I've been busy getting things ready for that!
