Week 15!

This week marks the end of my 15th week! hopefully, in the next few weeks I'll have a nice pregnant belly to show everyone! :) I'd have to say being pregnant so far has been a breeze! I love being pregnant (other than the fact that i can't have a corona) jk!

Brandy brought home her Doppler from work so Zach and I could hear the heart beat again. I'm thinking I need to buy one! Monday night, as I laid in bed we listened to the heart beat for the first time together since our appointment. Baby is still beating along at about 148bpm. He is still laying on my right side and only hearing one heart beat:) Can't wait til next month to know what were having! We have officially picked out a boys name again! I'm keeping it a secret til we find out what were having, but I have mentioned this name before;)

Tonight I took out my belly button ring. I've been noticing for a few days that my belly button is starting to turn to an outie, so i better lose the ring.

Fun Weekend at the Lake!

Our weekend started off Friday by heading to the lake for a weekend full of sun, swimming, boating, relaxing and of course beer! (not for me of course:0)). It was a nice weekend, the weather was great! We camped with my parents, several of their friends, brandy & Fredo, Dusti & Jeremy, Jason & Shelby, Brad & Whitney and our neighbors Rob & Heather. It was great to see everyone and hang out for the weekend with nothing to do!

We had great food, fun games and a wonderful time around the camp fire!

We headed back home around 1100 on Monday. I was the first one home to find that our freezer in the garage had opened while we were gone and our meat had rotted! Oh my did it smell bad!! Zach came home about 10min after i did and cleaned the mess up!:) What a great husband! Gross! I wanted to vomit.

Unforgettable!

As many of you know, today was our third doctor's appointment! Everything went great! Today, marks an unforgettable day for us, the day we heard our precious babies heart beat! It was an experience that I will cherish for ever. The heart beat was strong and loud at 150bpm. I was hoping that after leaving the appointment today, I'd know what we were having by the heart beat alone, but I was wrong. From what I've been reading anything thing over 150bpm is a girl and anything under is a boy. So since we are right at 150bpm the whole time I had the Doppler on, I'm not sure what to think. Either way I'm hoping for a happy, healthy baby. I have gained a total of 3 pounds! Next month we have blood work done and find out the sex if the baby!

Oh, I ran a little boy over the weekend at work and his name was Kyler! I love this name! Its my new fav!

We have a busy weekend ahead of us! We are camping all weekend at the city lake! I'll take lots of pictures and post next week!

Before our appointment! 14 weeks

Another week has passed!

Wow! Here we are at week 13 already in my pregnancy! Zach and I forgot to take pictures last week, so I'm missing week 12 in my belly book. :( It seems like the weekends that I work we forget about pictures by the time I get home. We will try to do better, but I'm pregnant so give me some slack. :)

I know I'm a few days behind, but hope everyone had a good mother's day! We had a busy day on Sunday. We did lunch at my parents and dinner at Zach's grandparents! It was a busy day, but full of quality family time! Speaking of mothers day, i got my first ever mother's day gifts! Zach bought me a Chi flat iron that I have been talking about for months! I love it and if you don't have one your missing out. :) Also, Zach's parents had the remote start installed in my car! This will be great to have once the baby is born! Seth, (zach's brother) sent me 6 pink tulips! Thanks to everyone for my first mother's day gifts, I had a great day.

On to a different note! In a few weeks we leave for Las Vegas so my parents can get re-married! I've been looking everywhere for a swim suit and have had no luck! I actually, ordered one from Target and when it arrived I hated it. I'm looking for a tankini, but don't want to spend a lot of money, so if anyone has any ideas send them my way please. :) Zach says to just wear my bikini, but pregnant women and bikini's just don't go together.

Tuesday is our next doctor's appointment. We get to hear the heart beat and I'll keep you informed after the appointment!

Our first big purchase!

Today I made our first big purchase! That's right I bought our crib today!! I was bored at work yesterday browsing the Target flyer when I noticed that the crib that I have been eyeing for a while was on sale this week only!! I was soooo excited! I called Zach to let him know it was on sale and he said we better buy it now. I called the Target store in Derby and they had 3 in stock. Today, my mom and I ran to target and made the purchase! It's still currently in my car waiting on Zach to unload it tomorrow!

Here it is! Its a four in one so we should be able to use it for many years.
